Compare Raisin in the Sun and Romeo and Juliet. I'm sure there are dozens of ways they could be compared. Rather than spoil things by suggesting some comparisons I would ask you to come up with some creative way to do this. I will be disappointed with overly short answers. This is a question that begs for a thorough treatment.

  1. In many ways they are the same and similar.
In both Rasin in the sun and Romeo and Juliet, they have family drama. But in rasin in the sun it was over money. And in rand j it was about love. Both family's get something taken away either a life savings or a son and daughter. But, it was really similar because it talks about the hardship of being in a family and always or sometimes disagreeing with each other.

  2. I'm going to compare Romeo and Walter. Both of them made bad decisions with things they blindly beleive in without doubt. Romeo just beleived that Juliet was really dead and he killed himself while Walter beleives in Willie about the liqour store and just invest all the insurance money in it and Willie just walks away with all of the money.

  3. Raisin in the Sun and Romeo and Juliet are similar because both their families have drama. In Raisin in the Sun, the family had problems about money. In Romeo and Juliet, they had problems about love. They both loved something; one loved money and the other loved one another. Both Stories sacrificed something; one is losing a lot of money, the other, each other.

  5. 1. In Romeo and Juliet, juliet was supposed to marry Paris, but she was in love with Romeo, and in the end was with/ married to Romeo. Well, Beneatha was dating George, but liked Asagai, and in also in the end was with Asagai like Romeo and Juliet.

    2. Walter was betrayed, wen Willy Harris took the money and ran away, Willy was supposed to be his best friend, and in a way that killed Walter by killing his dream. Like walter, mercutio was also betrayed when Tybalt killed him, he felt it was romeo's fault.

  15. In Romeo and Juliet, the problem is that two lovers cant be together and in Rasin in the Sun, the problem is money. i think that Romeo and Walter are simlar because they are the ones that make the main mistake at the end that ruins their lives. Walter lost the money and Romeo killed himself when Juliet was not really dead.
