What could you spend money on?
Imagine that you just inherited $20,000. What would you do with it? Be specific (not, "buy a car" but "buy a 2009 Lincoln Town Car with special rims, etc." If necessary do internet research to see if you can actually buy this thing with the money you inherited. If you want to save the money (for college, for instance) specify what you are saving for.

I would invest my money in a retirement home, because all the babybooms are retiring.

ReplyDeleteIf I have 20,000 dollars, I will probably save it up for college. If I have some still leftover, I will try buying my own car which is gonna be a Honda Civic Hybird. =)

ReplyDeleteIf i inherited $20,000, i would of course, go shopping with it and buy clothing from stores such as forever 21 and H&M. Then,i would go to San Francisco to buy whatever i can find such as slip on shoes, certain pieces of clothing. and maybe t-shirts from a certain brand. Then, i would save the rest of the money in the bank for college and whenever i may need it.

ReplyDeleteI would invest into solar panals because it saves alot of cash in the long run. After that I would just save it for a rainy day.
ReplyDeleteif i randomly inherited 20,000, i would use the money to help buy a house for me and parents to live in. that way, i can live with them for school, instead of living with my aunt and uncle.
ReplyDeleteI would buy a new computer for about 1000$. I would then put the money in my bank account and save it for college.
ReplyDeleteI would take that money and buy 3 new racquets. Maybe a Wilson K Blade or a Prince EXO3 Rebel. That would cost about $650. Then with the rest I would take and save for when I go to College.

ReplyDeleteIf I inherited 20,ooo dollars I would be so happy. First I would save a majority of it for college. Then I would use some of it for shopping, like going to San Fransico mall "Westfield" and shop around. Finally I would use some of it to pay my bills if I have any.

ReplyDeletethen ill will donate it to cancer. my reason why is because we need to help those that dont have money to buy medicines for it and we need to find a cure.
then ill donate half to poor people that lose their homes and have no food.
If i inherited $20,000 I would do alot of things with it. 1st ill give some to my family so they can buy cars houses and etc. 2nd I owuld go shopping a buy name brand jeans and shirts, sich as baby phat, dkny, and etc and shoes like blazers,pastrys and others shoes. 3rd i would save most of it in a bank account for when i really need it the most.
ReplyDeleteIf i inherited $20,000 i would use $1336 to fly my cousin and i to new york (round trip). Then i would spend $5000 shopping (armani, baby phat, burberry, chanel, ect.) the rest i would save.
ReplyDeleteWith 20,000 dollars inherited, I would have workers come to my house, and in my backyard I would have them install a indoor basketball gym. I would pay as much of the 20,000 dollars on the gym, and with whatever money (if any) left, I would also use it for accesories in the gym, such as bleachers, drinks, food, etc.

ReplyDeletei would probably save it up and later use it on vacations during summer. with 20,000 dollars i will split it into 10 parts and each parts will has 2000 dollars. the 1st part i will probably use it at Bridge To Nowhere for bungee jumping. the 2nd part i will use it at some ski resort for skiing. the 3rd part i would probably use it at Tandem Sky Diving for skydive. the 4th part i will definitely use it on scuba diving, i cant find any good locations yet. with the other $12000 dollars i will spend on the traveling fee, foods, hotel fee, shopping, and lessons if necessarily.

ReplyDeleteIf i inheirited $20,000 i would first off, go shopping. I would buy a lot of stuff from karmaloop. When i was done, if i had any money left i would put it with the rest of money to go towards college.
